What are your plans this lovely Sunday, the month of Christmas?

Today, I plan to sit around for about an hour, browsing the net and then maybe catch a film in the cinema and think of some Xmas ideas and prezzies for the kids.

I'm about to go into town and do some shopping coz have been too hungover all weekend to do it and there is feck all in the cupboards.

While I am in there am going to go see Love/Hate's Aoibhainn McGinity turn on the Christmas lights with the help of some GAA players that won some all star award and a good local covers band (fronted by Ryan Sheridan's brother) rip the place up with some bluesy rock.

Cant go get drunk with my mates as planned however coz have to have my son in town for 8 am in the morning. Joys of parenthood.

Oh and by the way................MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

Not many pubs are big enough to hold a full sized match inside it.

I know :) But I wouldnt be using Dublin Bus every day. Every other odd day or randomly during the week. Just sucks about the fares going up.

You don't need to be using it every day or even more than once a month if you don't want, it's still great to have

It's OK, Hull had enough time to get another goal. 3-1 to Hull.

Yeah. Hull's third goal was a cracking header by Skrtel, Liverpool's defender. :(

Definitely off to the pub now.

And Southampton scored after just 20 seconds against Chelsea.

I'm going to lie on the sofa and moan a quiet, reverberating hum. As I do this, I'll think about all of the little jackets I'm going to knit for my watermelons. Then I'll stroke the wall quietly and sing "Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains.

I'm just spending the day eating mini-Snickers and playing Super Mario Allstars. Haven't even gotten out of my pyjamas.
