Hey guys, Im thinking or upgrading my my graphics card. At the moment I have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC Windforce 2X, 2GB GDDR5, it was a month old last month and is playing on ultra settings 60 frames , games from early this year and most of lats years games. It struggles to get 60 frames on ultra very high on battlefield 4, so I was just wondering whether I should just get a completely new higher model graphics card or just get another Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC Windforce 2X, 2GB GDDR5.
Thanks in advance.P.S: Would be buying in the new year.

I don't see a problem with 60 fps on ultra very high settings but me that is just me.

I take it your PSU and mobo can handle 2 cards?

Maybe sell your 660 put that towards a new single Gpu. As far as I know AMD cards run Bf4 better. So you could pick up say an r9 280x.

    Just another option

Would it be better to wait a while longer maybe 6 months see what new cards come on the market then buy ? seems a waist to sell the card after 1 year of not that much work, would it be better to get a completely new card or another 660. Yes my motherboards an ASUS P8Z77-V, Sockel 1155, ATX, DDR3 and yes it can take 2 cards.

Well I don't see anything wrong with your current performance to be honest.

Personally I'd wait. The 800 series gtx is supposed to be a major step up. Whether that is true is another thing. Either way waiting will mean cheaper upgrade

Yes I see your point, when is the 800 series due out ?

Rumours 1Q 2014 so not that far away. It's release will drop 660 prices also 700 series.

So even if you didn't upgrade to 800 series you will save money. I wouldn't normally play tge waiting game but you have a decent Gpu so no real rush.
