    Hi all car lovers,
I'd like to get my husband a top end car detail/ valet as part of his Christmas present. Can any of your recommend a particular place in Dublin that does a particularly good one?
    Thanks!

Quick update for those who are interested. I called the place in Leixlip (handier for where we live than Swords) and spoke to Brian today. He was really nice and helpful. So my husband is being spoiled rotten this Christmas and is getting the one day detail as a gift from me.
Unfortunately for me I had already bought him a present anyway so he is getting a LOT this year.
He's lovely though so worth it. :)

He'll do a tip top job on it as well. I think I speak for most of us on here that we're jealous :(

Brian in Spirit Detailing is a top class detailer. He has a Facebook page which I suggest you "like" to see the amazing cars he has worked on!

A present like that will get a nice reaction, but I'd wait until it's actually been done and he's getting the car back to see his real reaction. :D
Presents like that are good. Wish anyone I knew was as thoughtful! Fair play Penny!

Yes, Spirit Detailing in Leixlip. He's rather good at what he does and a very interesting character as well. It will be money well spent. I have two lovely shining cars now.

Hi, I'm in the Skryne area and I'm wondering if you guys know anyone around Skryne or Ashbourne that does a good job at good prices.

    thanks John.

Skryne wouldn't be a million miles from Leixlip. I met Brian when I bought the voucher for my husband and he is such a nice man I was really happy to be giving him business. Also he was working on a vintage Jag when I was there and it looked so good I am eagerly awaiting how my husbands car will look after its day of TLC.

Detailing shed are in swords. They'd be the only ones in that area who I'd let near my paintwork, other than myself.
Spirit detailing aren't much further, maybe 20 mins more. Again I'd trust them at my paintwork. They'd be the only two "detailers" in the Dublin/north Leinster area who I'd let near it.

I'd ring both and ask for a quote. Both will do a stunning job on it for you.

As a warning detailing isn't cheap. If someone is offering to do an inside and outside detail as well as machine polish and wax for under a couple of hundred I'd run a mile.

A quick update, my husband loved the voucher for the car detailing I bought him. He was boasting all over Christmas to his friends who are very envious.

He has a 06 Alfa 159 ............that has a cream leather interior and runs on diesel (which we will never ever forget since he once put petrol into it:o).

    You should be a detailer.
