Hey folks I'm buying a new tv and i would like to know is it worth buying a smart tv or not. They are a good bit more expensive than the standard tv. Will I need netflix youtube and all else when I can just hook up my ipad and mirror it on to my tv. Are they worth the cash I'm asking ...thanks

I got one in 2011 and its already out of date,Sony never bothered updating it.You would be far better concentrating on a set with the best picture and inputs/outputs ,hook it up to a console.Xbox One has some pretty cool features and so has PS4 ,Netflix etc, when they become available i wouldn't be too concerned about the TV being "smart" or not.
