    Hi,

I've used Pixmania a good few times now and have only had good experiences with them. Because they act as an 'agent' for retail sellers, the prices they charge are highly competitive... they're not just selling from their own stock but carry identical items from other sellers. Quite often you can also get free delivery on what you buy, but this is item specific.

I've had two incidences where I needed to contact customer support, and have only good thing to say about how I was treated.

    Personally, I'd recommend them.

I have had no problems with them, but many others have, there are numerous old threads about them. It seems a fairly even split of people saying they are grand and others saying not to touch with a bargepole. I think its more if you have a problem like arriving damaged they can be a nightmare, if the item is OK it will usually have been a smooth transaction.

It depends on the item where I would chose to buy from. I would not buy a large TV from pixmania, unless I was making a huge saving. I value the ease of return to the likes of powercity, I consider the extra cost to be a type of insurance.

Also make sure it has the right connections & saorview & all that, I am not up to date with all the latest features but you could get an EU spec TV which might not do all you want here, hence that could be why it is so cheap, since they are making far more EU spec machines than Irish.

4 or 5 days normally, but at this time off year i would not know, you should really try pixmanias order tracking and see when the transport company they use have a hold off it. it could be they have it in ireland already and the delay could be this end.

Bought two tvs in the past and currently going to buy another.
Never had any issue and their prices are really good.

If you have a vat no, then go to pixmaniapro.

I recently purchased a computer and monitor (not cheap) from Pixmania, and if I could turn back the clock and purchase locally, trust me, I would.

Getting in contact with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I deeply regret using them. (My packages haven't even arrived yet, and I'm already writing this post.)

They ship via a courier Hermes who requires both a tracking number and postal code to track the package - well that doesn't work so well in Ireland, does it?

Tracking the package has been a mess, I won't go into here, but in short, if you need to know when your package is going to arrive to be home to receive it, don't use Pixmania.

I used Pixmania for a TV, dispatched via Dachser. Got a phone call arranging delivery and they delivered it bang on time. Can't complain at all, so it seems a bit hit and miss.

    @woodstock1708

have exactly same experience. Bought a printer last week. No sign of the package.
Tracking not working, really disappointing. Should add few euros and buy from currys or PC World.

    If possible avoid.

And i noticed that they have gone bonkers on their prices.Have been keeping an eye on 4K TV's and thay have put over €200 on th LG ub850v in the last week, might as well buy it in currys at that price. Also the Sammy 55hu7500 is an amaing €800 dearer than the german site andf even €500 dearer than POWERCITY!!!The only thing that would ever of tempted me to use them was the low prices but i think they have gotten greedy in trying to rip of Irish customers thus shot themselves in the foot in the process.

man, i bought a tv off of them a while ago that developed a fault within a week (black line going down the middle) and it took over 6 months to get a refund out of them...!

i wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot clown pole...

Ordered a phone cover on Pixmania and all I can say is thank god it wasnt too dear because I ordered it and they got back into contact to say I had to send on a photo of I.D. and a Utility Bill which was not written on their website before order so when I did this, the email I sent the attachments too their validation email address and it came back undelivered plus it was in Spanish so I had to translate it and when I tried to get in touch with them via email (customer "support") they were unhelpful and rude and when I wanted to cancel order they ignored me and I wrote to them on facebook in desperation and I got told to contact them directly which I tried doing but was getting no contact back! DO NOT order from this website they are very bad.....

i have to say i used pixmania several times in past, seems ok if you don't have issues or looking for refund , this is where pixmania are a disaster of company to deal with.

i ordered a item i then was in contact with re-seller of item in germany who said they were not doing any more orders through pixmania as they have too many problems with pixmania a nd said they never received my order and said i should cancel my order with pixmania .

2.5 weeks on I'm still waiting for pixmania to issue my refund , all i got is excuses, i was in touch with European consumers and they asked me first to look for charge back through my bank and if that doesn't work, next step is European consumers will get involved

after this i will never deal with pixmania again and advise everyone stay clear of them , seems they in financial trouble and maybe under new ownership , I can see why

I ordered an SD card on 24th April from Pixmania. I have not received card to date (17 July 2016). There is no mechanism to raise this issue with Pixmania via their Web site or phone (premium phone number never answered over this period) .

I have not received SD car or refund. Over this period I received confirmation email on two occasions from the re-seller that they did not receive the order from Pixmania and to contact Pixmania directly.

The Pixmania customer service Web page only allows me to email the re-seller for all of the listed order problems, there is no option to contact Pixmamia as to why my order was not forwarded to the re-seller (even when the site offers to comment on their service Website , this is redirected to the re-seller!).

It is impossible to contact Customer Service (1530 300 210) by phone, either busy or rings out to no reply (tried this 50+ times over numerous dates since order). I have cancelled order but still no refund. Beware!
