I bought a new burner today just to have in the van in case i need to fit a new burner. The burner i order was a riello rdb2.2 70/90.However the one that i got was a 70/90 model no. 744T2K.I didnt think the riello 2.2 came with a t2 head.Im thinking about changing the burner for a different model as i dont think the T2 head is that popular.Would a riello 2.2 21.3kw - 42kw burner with a T3 head be a better option to have

I usually carry a G3B as a spare, it will cope with most burners as a temporary measure.

The Riello 2.2 would appear to come with three different arrangements (Flame Tubes etc) My neighbour has just installed a WarmFlow B90HE Boiler with the same burner arrangement as your spare one, see below, it doesnt mention a T3 head, 15-21, 21-26 & 26-33 would appear to mean to suit 50/70, 70/90 and 90/115 Boilers. These are Kerosene Burners.

Thanks,I changed the rdb2.2 744T2 k which is a warmflow burner to a rdb2.2 744T3k grant burner. The reason i changed is that its mostly firebird and grant down my way and the T3 flame tube head is more popular with them. You wount get a firebird with a T2 flame tube head
