Looking to rebuild a wheel that I recently acquired. The outside cone nut is 17mm... my set of cone wrenches only goes up to 16mm... Anyone have some wrenches for sale or able to lend a pair out?

    Thanks.

I bought a set (two flat spanners) of cone wrenches today in Halfords, €14.99. They are made the way that there are two sizes on each size, i.e. 14&15 / 16&17mm.

Use an adjustable spanner if it's the outside locknut. It's wider and if it's hexagonal it's pretty unlikely to mark or strip.
