My new cyclocross bike has apparently just arrived, so my cycling plans for the weekend might change. Just wondering if anyone has done the canal from Robertstown as far as Dublin (somewhere around Inchicore). I've done the Robertstown-Sallins bit on the mountain bike a fair few times, but I have no idea what the bit after Sallins is like.

It's a joy. No problems for you at all apart from where Dublin council spent 20 m on the path and made it a disaster for cyclists from 10 km out from Dublin with those damn gates. Apart from that it's a great and massively underused resource. Enjoy and spread the word.

Thanks, I'll give it a go in the morning.
