    Never had the arc but have had 2 kobos fail on me, both of these have been androids. having said that the wifes ereader * another kobo is working not a bother.

    to be fair to OP it looks like a decent spec bit for the money also is there €10 cashback to bring it to 90 quid or am i reading it wrong.

    Got one for myself and then another as a gift.

    Excellent as a book reader and general use tablet.

    kobo website says it is quad core 1.2Ghz with 1024x600 screen but currys/pcworld says 1.5Ghzdual core with 1024x800 screen.Who do we believe?

    You should believe both this is the kobo arc which is 1.5ghz dual core, the kobo arc7 is quad core 1.2ghz and the kobo arc7hd is 1.7ghz quad core.
