Booking NCT online

    Hey.

    I'm trying to book a test for next January online.

    I enter all my details and get to the part where you select a date and time.

    Anytime i select a date no times appear in the column beside it.

    I've tried 20+ dates.. and no times appear.. Looks like a website problem.

    Has anyone else had issues with there online booking page ?

    I suppose its because all the hundreds of thousands of cars sold in January 00,01,02,03,04,06,08,10 and 12 are all competing for the available slots.You can nct it now if you want.

    Book on line your in for long wait, my was 2 months, friend phoned about the same time, in 2 weeks,also ask for any cancellation which may came up, i wasn't in a hurry.

    Online is grand, slots appear every so often.Just got to check it every so often

    Limerick has plenty of slots the week of the 9th of December.Not sure if thats any use to you though

    both of cork test centres have no green dates until at least april

    I was on to book mine in Dublin last week, tried 4 centres and the only dates between now and April I could book were the 9th - 15th December in Greenhills

    I booked mine Monday week ago and got lucky with one slot left for last Saturday in Galway. There didn't seem to be any slots after that for December or January!

    I just rang them there.

    they said they had no dates uploaded for Greenhills.

    But she said that when dates are released she will send me a message with my booking. So its like they are not releasing the dates for next year yet !.

    The trick with booking online is to check the site for cancellations regularly during the day. Early in the morning is usually the first time that the system updates with cancellations.
