I have one of these and they are brilliant, easily one of the best things I have bought this year (I feel really pathetic saying that but it makes cleaning so bloody easy).

I've ordered it through Parcel Motel, are you guys getting delivery to the South? If you are what's the cost?

I have always ordered my amazom stuff through Parcel motel for the little I've used them.

Its always free delivery when you spend over £25 with amazon

Thanks for that, I hadn't realised.

I had a wrong delivery from Amazon twice with the one order and never really used them after that. If this goes well I'll probably start using them again.

Thanks OP, just picked this up for €32 and had planned to spend €80 on one this weekend!

    £26.08 now!

Why do I seem to be the only person who hates these things?

I use one of these as part of my job, and between the plugging in, watching the cord, running out of detergent/water aagh, hate it.
Plus they are heavish and awkward.

Give me a mop, bucket and boiling water any time.

    Ok rant over.

Good luck to those choosing to purchase them.

get onto amazon for partial refund as they will give you 5 quid back for the difference, as its cheaper now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 423 ✭✭shot2go

will they refund the difference? mine still has not dispatched. in chat with them now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 423 ✭✭shot2go

I have checked and see that the item's cost has gone down in the amount of 5.24 GBP.
As an exception, I'll issue the refund for the difference amount.

Thank op. Have been thinking about getting one of these for about a month since we put new flooring down. Great price :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,830 ✭✭✭irishproduce

The detergent is expensive though isn't it?
Kind of like printers and printer ink, or electric toothbrush and the heads/ razors and new blades.

Any life hacks on the detergent?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,110 ✭✭✭xpletiv

Looks like its jumped in price up to £45 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 423 ✭✭shot2go

you dont have to use the detergent! infact i only used it once, what i usually do it spray some flash on the floor and then use the steam mop over it.

Got mine and tried it out. It's a nice piece of kit but my floor was pretty clean to begin with. Has anyone tried it out on tough stains on tiles or wood flooring?

I got mine and really like it. Using it on kitchen floors and it works great to get off dirt and mud that the dogs dragged in. Am really pleased. Thanks OP
