I was wondering what everyone has on Christmas day? I'm the one cooking this year so have been looking for inspiration for starters

    Starter
    Deep friend calamarie and prawns

    Main
    Turkey
    Ham
    Spice beef
    roast potatoes
    potato crochets
    parsnips and carrots (roasted)
Brussel sprouts (a small bowl no one really likes them but they must be there)
    Gravy

    Desert
    Christmas Pudding
    Yule Log
    Trifle (maybe)

    Later
    cheese board
    Tin of roses

    Starter:
Prawns or chicken salad (I hate prawns)

    Main Course:
    Turkey
    Ham
    Mashed potato
    Roast potato
    Broccoli
    Cauliflower
    Sprouts
    Carrots
    Asparagus
    Green beans/mange tout
Sprouts - mountains of them because I could eat them all day and night. Highlight of Christmas dinner for me.
    Stuffing
Gravy, cranberry sauce & mustard of course

    Dessert:
    Pavlova
    Cheese cake
    Cheeseboard

No Christmas cake, trifle or pudding with the in-laws - they all hate them!

Lots of red and white wine to wash it all down.

Not sure what this years starter is yet...

Main will most likely be stuffed pork steak
    Duck fat roasts
    carrot and parsnip mash
brussel sprouts with honey and bacon
    red cabbage
    proper gravy

Still undecided as to what this years dessert will be. I want to make croquembouche but I'm on nights - need to figure out my timings!
