Can't wait for Christmas to be over.

Have been reading A Christmas Carol on my commute to work in the mornings for my book club recently and it's really getting me in the mood. Such a great story; would really recommend giving it a read. I still feel like I did as a child in the run up to it every year. 2 whole weeks with family and old friends in my beloved Ireland drinking, eating and laughing - what's not to love?

    cause it looses its magic.

Christmas is like a smell, its great when you first smell it but over time it starts to fade until you can't even notice it anymore

Get out your wallets, your friendly neighbourhood retailer is waiting for you. It's just a spendfest, which really started a month ago.

here here definitely not xmas til December, so until sunday hold up! ah I love xmas but I really don't start thinking of it til bout 12th December, then il let myself go......Just wondering has anyone noticed a trend with xmas songs ads on everyday commercial radio etc last few years , they start around 5th or 6th and seem to stop completely on midnight of 26th dec, does this mean that in media/ ad land xmas is over on st stephens day, I was really disappointed cause I usually don't get xmas excited til 22nd dec and then after 4 days it was pulled, felt very empty, I think I actually only heard fairytale of NY about twice last year on radio.

I do sometimes get a bit confused about whether or not it is Christmas, especially at this time of year when there are mixed messages coming from all over the place. Luckily, there is a website to help easily confused people like me.

    Is it Christmas?
