Northern Job + Southern Address = car?

    Hi all, im living down south but drive north each day to work in Newry.
    i have an northern bank account (for the job )and NI number. as well as a southern account (my normal one)

    question

    am i legally allowed to own and operate a northern reg car without having to worry about having to import the car and paid the duty.

    If it's a personal car you will be driving home every day then it can't be NI registered.
