How to gain exemption from self build?

    To anyone who has already filed for their exemption how did you manage to do this? I have no property id no. or pin to log in. I have just got off the phone from Revenue but the person I was talking to could not assist me and had to put me through to Head office who didn't answer as they lines were busy. Can I do it online?

    No, only head office can issue a new pin. I had the same problem recently, you have to stay on hold for head office. I was on hold for 39 minutes one day and had to hang up. The day i got through i was on fold for 33 mins, but in fairness they tell you on the phone on a constant basis and repeated how long you will be waiting.

    39mins is ridiculous for a government dept to keep anyone on a phone. To top it all off there's no guarantee you won't get a (computer says no) idiot on the phone who disconnects you when they transfer you to another dept. because they don't have a clue.
