My carpenter sourced and installed the skirting downstairs but has since move to Australia.
I'm looking put the same skirting upstairs but can't source it. It's a primed reversible wood skirting, one side is in the ogee style and the other side is chamfered/splayed.

I believe my carpenter sourced the skirting in Northern Ireland. Does anyone know who manufactures this reversible skirting or where I could source it.

    I'm looking for 18x144 boards.

    Hey Dacfi.
If im taking you up right, i dont think its an actual reversible skirting.
The chamfer is there so that the skirting fits nicely between floor and wall. Moreso for concrete floors where you may get small bits of cement/plaster in the very corner, with the chamfer, it clears this.

I would often chamfer skirting for that reason, especially with mass concrete, it would be like bell metal, and trying to chizel it......

If you phone around a few hardwares im sure someone will stock the primed Mdf skirting you are looking for. Failing that, Balcas mdf mouldings in Kill(www.balcas.com),a few miles from Naas, would be your next contact, they may supply you, but if they are trade only(not sure) they will point you to a stockist.
