Just wondering what the main smart features that are available on the Sony 42w653 and the LG 42ln57*v are? Also what price they are delivered? Are 4OD, BBC i player, 3Player available?

Generally you will find that the UK catch up services such as BBC iPlayer etc are only available if you have a UK IP address and if you are in the ROI you will not be able to access these, even if the app is preloaded when you set the smart functionality up it will generally be disabled and the local apps ( ie RTE Player for example) may be loaded or downloadable.

In general terms the Sony is 200Hz XR processing against the 100Hz AMR on the LG.

The LG is in tight supply at the moment so its currently in-store only - the Sony is £499.95 and delivery would be £19.95 ( the Sony includes a 5 year warranty at the moment)

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist,
