    The blurb says:

Watches: Watches (30% off excluding: Dior Watches, Hermés Watches, Panerai Watches, Marc by Marc Jacobs watches and MMK watches)

That puts blancpain, GO and the others in the sale......

Is that tomorrow Friday or for Christmas? Selfridges (also owned by Weston and managed by ex BT Paul Kelly) has 20% off most watches (excl Rolex, Cartier but tomorrow only.

Not such an interesting selection; Longines, Rado and Hamilton seemed to be the bulk. I overheard a salesman commenting that all the automatic Longines had already been sold which seems to imply a fairly reduced stock. The Blancpains are on 30% off but they don't sing out to me.

The silver and black date only fifty fathoms was calling to me But The €12k before discount price tag managed to convince me otherwise. I think I'll wait until the kids have finished college and left home before I can buy something that expensive and still have a clear conscience.
