I contacted them via email enquiring about buying prizes for an outing and getting some kind of discount. Received a reply back saying that a store was opening next week in Cork opposite Musgrave Park.

Anyone know anything about this? I've see no promotion or advertising and you'd imagine they would be promoting this.

Think it in the Kinsale Road Retail Patk, beside Woodies, The Halpenny Golf that is,
the shop in Douglas is being opened by David Ryan, a PGA member from Cahir Park Golf Club.

Never heard of them?? where is their shop?

Called in this morning. First impressions are very positive. The size of the shop is huge, plenty stock and I'd say more to come as they were still putting items out.
I was in a bit of a rush so didn't spend too long there but prices looked good. Should be good to have another option in Cork when buying

They seemed to have good prices on a lot of bags. But as I said I only had a couple minutes so didn't look in detail.

Popped in myself last night for 10 mins.
Staff very friendly without being too in your face
Fine big store with some good looking prices. (if only I had some money  )
Staff also made it clear that there was wriggle room in prices
    Hope it does well.

I got a text about a loyalty night with customers between 6-9pm getting offered the staff discounts. Dunno how likely this is, did anyone go and buy something as part of the promotion??? If so, did they get much of a discount?

It was running in Cork store alright as they had signs up and the staff mentioned it. I didn't buy anything and didn't enquire (waiting on lotto :D ) so not sure re discounts. Previous posters on here have suggested the nights are not great but I reckon they will at least match others prices from vibe I got

    Was in there today.
Not as well stocked as I thought it would be having been open a while now.

Callaway doing a fitting day there between 12 and 4 this Friday.

Was in there myself 2 weeks ago got a savage deal on a Titleist Staff Bag and found them fairly well stocked, Defo in the Putter Department anyway :)
They have very good deals on clothes at the moment aswell....

Probably had the blinkers on as I was after a set of Cleveland wedges which they didn't have.

Very helpful staff there though, ended up buying a dozen Bridgestones on the strength of his attitude and service, so not all bad!!

Ya the customer service is very good, best ive seen in any Golf shop in my opinion, I swapped a Glove which i got for Xmas which was too big, also picked up few other small bits, the bag i got that day i ended up bringing back 2 t-shirts which i also got for extra cos i never wore them and one had no tag on it and had no hassel putting them off against the bag!!

Was in there Saturday and thought their prices were as good as I've seen compared to the other local pro shops/golf shops. Had been on the lookout for new irons for a while and finally bit the bullet. Narrowed it down to Rocketballz (€299) and Rocketbladez (€349). Didn't find a lot of difference between them to be fair. (I had tried them on the range elsewhere). So I went with the Rocketballz 4-pw.

But get this, when I landed at the driving range on my way home I opened the box to find a set of Rocketbladez instead. 4-sw. Nice one:)

Other than that I thought the Taylormade wedges (Atv wedge?) at €79 seemed good value. Plenty stock too.

And I'm sure you rushed back to inform them of the mistake

I didn't to be honest. I landed at the range near my place and only copped it then. I wasn't going to trek back the 30 miles at that stage.

Went in there today when on my break.

Some nice deals especially on Taylor Made stuff.

They have big store. Its about 75% full now although they dont have many putters in stock.

Nice to have another option anyway.

If you are looking for few deals on Drivers or Irons it would be worth checking out.

I went into halpenny golf in cork yesterday, and found the store to be very well stocked and displayed. I was custom fitted for a set of irons by a member of staff called Christian. It was an easy going experience to which everything was explained to the point that I understood. I ended up buying as the customer service and price were very good. Would highly recommend it.

Any feedback i've heard in relation to the store has been positive and the one thing that everyone seems to mention is the staff. They really seem to be getting things right in the short space of time they've been there.

It's a great experience, the lads are very nice and extremely genuine. They don't push sales on you which is good. They also do repairs there. They have a golf professional full time there for all that.
