179 + 22.90 P&p.... I don't think the price is too good to be true.

Can buy on Amazon, can get them in the shops for a bit more (probably 250euro). Then a lot of shops in Ireland offer 10% off if you are a member of some outdoor organisation. So total price difference is only 25 euro or so. But with that you get a much easier return policy should something go wrong with them.

GreatOudoors don't seem to have the Borneo but might order it in for you?

If you are one of the available sizes could get them pretty cheap from:

10% off Borneo 2 in Jacksons, and very quick delivery. Plus, I would be a little nervous about making any big buys on eBay, don't know that the consumer price law extends to it.

I'd wait for the sales after christmas to see if you get them in a shop. I bought my Meindls in Padmore and Barnes in Kilkenny during a good sale. About 20% -30% off depending on the shoe - they had a range of Meindls and others in the sale.

If you are certain about the size, i.e. if you had the same boot before, then you can always buy it online then if you don't see anything in the sales.

The seller has good but not great feedback, so I don't see the price advantage to be honest.
