Synaps 2856 box cant find channels

    Just brought a synaps 2856 box for RTE channels, but it cant find any channels when i scan, i have set it to Ireland but finds nothing, the aerial is ok because i can pick up all RTE channels using my samsung soarview tv,
    any body know anything about these boxes?

    I assume you're not installing the box at the same TV point where the Samsung TV is located.

    Have you tested the box at the TV point where the Saorview TV is located?

    I have tested it at 2 different Houses with both aerials picking up channels with soarview TVs.

    In that case maybe the receiver is faulty, can you take it back to the retailer to test?

    i will have to send it back , annoying because it was free delivery, but on terms and conditions all returns have to be paid for by customer, even faulty items, will cost €6.50 post office.
