Heres mine the main talking point has to be me picking the Saints away to the Seahawks. Wilson has never lost a home game but I think the cornerback mini crisis in Seattle combined with the eliteness of Brees will see a major shock on MNF.

Interesting point you raised there. I was actually going to go with the Saints myself, but the possible weather conditions swung it for me the other way.

Is Giants-Redskins not SNF this week Corvus?

Rodgers highly unlikely to make the Lions-Packers game on Thursday, meaning the Packers season is as good as done!

Well, they haven't actually lost yet. Give Flynn a chance; he has form against the Lions.

Yep, Giants/Redskins is the late game this week. Not exactly thrill a minute stuff.

Started this 3 weeks ago and I'm only like 5 games above .500 if even that. Must have been the hardest 3 weeks to predict for a long time though.

For this late in the year it's a poor prime time game alright. That being said rivalry game so should be close & hard fought

Sure no one is going to want to watch it anyways, so doesn't really matter :pac:

If the Hawks can take care of the Saints then we're going to have a couple of absolute thrillers between Carolina and New Orleans for the NFC south, potentially looking at that game being on Sunday night football a both times if it's so tight as it is now. We should get one flexed anyway.

As far as I am aware the 1st meeting has already been moved to Sunday night football

    !

You would think they would have flexed something else in FFS. This is a nothing game for SNF.

I know the panthers v saints game has been flexed to SNF in future weeks Id have thought they would have done something similar for this weekend.

What game do you want there? The only other game that is a possible SNF game is the Eagles and Cardinals which isn't exactly exciting either. Skins and Giants have a massive television market add to that the games this week and it's pretty obvious which game gets picked.

People just love to whinge about the Prime Time games.

Eagles & Cards has very clear playoff implications.

Giants v Skins doesn't. I know they are playing to the markets but the games that matter should be flexed in.

I know what your saying but it's like people giving about about people giving out about Man United on a Tuesday night in the champions league. It's all about market share.

Cardinals, Rams, Panthers etc all hav crap market share. It suits most Irish fans if the late game is a crap one anyway becuase then they won't miss out as often people won't bother staying up.

Often "prime time" games are a huge let down anyway. I'd rather the Giants game was moved becuase now I won't be able to watch it until Monday now.

Several games there I'd dodge from a betting point of view, but sure it's only a bit of fun (with mild kudos attached lol) here so I'll take a shot.... I'm banking on road wins being at a premium this week after the flood of them last weekend, we shall see...

Saints V Hawks to decide home field advantage in the NFC, and quite probably who will get to the Superbowl.

    Huge game. Can't wait.

Everyone backing the Lions?! On Thanksgiving!!?!

They'd find a way to lose a Thanksgiving game even if it was against a Boards Select 53.

    a Boards Select 53.

Another road win for the Jags. Only myself and D3PO tipping them. I think they will win next week too on Thursday night football against Houston. Streak!

I went for the Jags as well, but I'm not sure why. Some tough calls there though, particularly the Steelers Ravens game, and Titans Colts.

Must win for Packers I would think. Go pack go!!

I'm not a big fan of how often the Americans love to throw out the national anthem but (apart from 'the freee-EEEEE' part) that was a pretty staggering rendition.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

We just can't stop 3rd down and 1-4 yards. Pass or run, it's just so easy.

Fumble! Lions never fail to do dumb things in great situations.

Yeah, buddy! CMIII bails us out.

But Capers' ineptitude was there in full display for that entire drive.

Bad fumble. The Lions were making it look so easy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

Massive turnover big fill up for Green Bay.

I think Eddie Lacy will do some damage tonight another 100 yard night needed from him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Offensive line just crumbled there completely. Need to go with a lot of quick throws and runs to the outside today.

Ziggy Ansah just blew up that rookie for Green Bay.

In fairness he does look some player.

I wouldn't be so sure. Lions haven't conceded a 50 yards rushing in the last 5 games!

Our defence is absolutely pathetic. Just pathetic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭Emperor1989

Considering how awful the Packers D has been 3-0 down is a great result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

If Detroit weren't such bottlers GB would be in for a hammering.

    Lets go Eddie...is Starks playing?

Nice to come home form work and watch a Packers game. From the reading here looks like we've been lucky enough in the first quarter. All tied up now, hopefully we can start playing some defense for one game this season.

    EDIT: **** yeah!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

    :D

Two recoveries for Burnett now if I'm correct.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

TD!! The Lions are beating the Lions.

Maybe the turnover defence we had in the Superbowl year is on the comeback.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭me89

Amazing, its been all Lions but yet there down 7.
