Clubs are invited to cycle to Dalgan Park Navan on Sunday 1st of December arriving at 12 noon. Moynalty Cycling Club have organised this event and we would love if you could come and support us next Sunday as we try to raise as much money as possible for the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines. Our own Jean Panugaling McKenna and her Filipino friends have asked for our help to raise funds to send to the Sacred Heart Sisters in Ormoc where they are working to rehouse people in desperate need.

We hope that cyclists/clubs will cycle to meet up at Dalgan Park, Navan (about 5kms SE of Navan on the old N3 now called R147) where the pro cyclist David McCann, former winner of the Tour of The Philippines, will address the group. The Filipino Society in Navan have kindly offered to provide a taste of Filipino food for us all.

Please encourage your friends and family to cycle, run, walk or drive to Dalgan to support this great cause. All donations will be sent to the Philippines through the Columban Fathers who have been working there for many, many years. Please give generously. Donation boxes will be available at the venue.
Hope to see as many clubs there as possible and forecast looks good. Any queries to moynaltycycling@gmail.com or pm me. Thanks Seamus

Would this not be better if riders turned up in Navan and went on a spin for 60km or whatever on the local roads? That way non-club riders would be involved. Like the Tour of Louth last Sunday that raised funds for the Philippines.
