Water issue following tap change

Just wondering if anyone can help me with this.
I got the kitchen tap changed at the weekend (by a plumber) and there seems to be a problem with the water.
The tap is from B&Q and is a single handle mixer tap.
Tap runs fine but when the sink is filled the suds seem to disappear in a few minutes.
We never had this problem before.
    We are on mains water.
The tap has a minimum pressure of .8 bar.

Could low pressure be causing the suds to disappear ?
Is there likely to be residue in the tap following installation ?

I'm not a professional plumber but I will have a stab at this one. The tap may be an aerator version where air is introduced into the water flow to cut down on water usage and give you a "nicer" softer water flow. Usually reserved for hand basins I would have thought. If the all the introduced air cannot support the "suds" then they may collapse quite quickly. (oil/fat will also break them down quickly too)
Try filling the sink slowly so no air is introduced and see if that makes any difference to your suds life?
