    Hi All

I have just realised that my existing drivers license has expired and, for work, I need a renewed one by the end of the week.

Does anyone know if there is a process for fast tracking one as I was told it can take up to ten days.

    Many thanks

There used to be a way depending on the county council but that's gone now. Best bet is turning up and seeing if they can with whatever evidence saying you need it pronto.

Be at your closest centre when they open. Beg.

Even ten days is optimistic, and the new system doesn't seem to have a means of dealing with "emergencies"

I have waiting for a month now for my licence from the NDLS. They said it would be 10 days.

Can you get a letter from work that states you need the licence urgently for work? I've found that useful in the past for dealing with the passport office.
