    Hi,

I studied 3 years in Ireland, I am now working here as well. I paid up to 15.600 euros for my 3 years study. I was working part-tim (20 hours per week) during my degree and registered to the tax. I had social deduction from my salary. during these two years.

I sent the form to receive the tax refund but they do not want to refund aything, Well I checked on the online paye anytime and it says that I haven't paid tax until now... Same now, I work full time, get 2500 euros per month, pays PRSI and USC but tax is written as 0..my paylslips shows 2500 euors tax credit,,

three questions..? is it normal that I haven;t been deduced for tax while working part-time? Is it normal that I pay no tax at the moment working full time? can I get back money from my courses with tax credit?

If you could also let me know hoe the taxation system works around here it would be great.

    thanks a mill

If you earn very little you pay hardly any tax, so there may be nothing to refund.
