    Hi,

Last night I downloaded iPhoto for free on my iPhone 5. As I've already downloaded it I can't see the current price but from memory the app was something like €4.99 a while back, so it seems a decent deal.

I've looked online and the only mention of it being free seems to be from websites referring to people being able to get it free when they have other Apple software.

Just checked and iPhoto is still listed as €4.49 in the App Store.

If you have a new iOS 7 device it's free along with the following apps iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

It's free if you have a new iOS 7 device, along with iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

I have an iPhone 5, bought a year ago and none of the software you mentioned above (or any other Apple device).

I just checked my iTunes account and it's listed as having been free.

Sorry my original post was unclear, the other apps are also free for new iOS 7 devices.

I checked on a new IPhone 5s and these apps are coming up with the regular prices on the App Store.
Phone is new with iOS 7.

    Anything I am missing?

I think they were free if you activated your device after a certain date. I got an iPad air at the weekend and was prompted to download them with the first visit to the App Store.
Similar thing happened when iBooks was released

Hmm, strange as I activated this device last Friday... I will need to look into this. My wife may have seen the message are ignored it, it is her phone.
