Pet Friendly Accommodation - Straffan Area

Hello,

Anyone know of any places that allow dogs in Straffan or surrounding areas?
I'm going to a wedding Barberstown Castle but want to make a holiday out of it & stay for a few days.....bringing the dog, so looking for somewhere that will allow us to take him.

I've already found what I thought was perfect here, Church View, Straffan. When I enquired, I was told the property is no longer available to rent.

Any suggestions very welcome.

They are kennels just half a mile from Barberstown.

I know you want somewhere for the dog to stay with you but this might be a solution?

I had an awful experience at woofy's. my dog needed to go to the vet after a weekend there. And she was covered in her own mess when we collected her.

Does barberstown not take pets? I know they keep their own dog there. Gorgeous place for a wedding. Best in Ireland IMO. Enjoy

No, I enquired & they told me they don't allow pets to stay
Not having much joy with anywhere....will keep investigating.

Not too sure what you would do with the dog during the wedding though. http://www.caninecountryclub.ie/ may be able to help.

Moate House sounds best, although even they give Guest Pets as "Limited". I suppose they'd allow a small/quiet dog

Give Hazelwood B&B a call, a few minutes from Barberstown and they have pets themselves so may be open to you bringing your own dog.

check out the canine country club. its less than 10 mins from barberstown and is top class. would highly recommend them. ask for mick

their black lab Fudge is a docile oul pet.
