    Hi all
Looking for a bit if advice here. Been skiing to Austria several time and am heading again in 2014. However I usually head in Jan/February, this time it's late March and for a long weekend(20-24). Flying into Munich.

Loved Saalbach , done Soll several times, Westendorf, Obertaurn off top of head but bit worried about snow at that time of year. Obertaurn was high but not sure if I want to go back there!

So any ideas within 2 ish hours drive of Munich from the Boards crew?

    Thanks

Mayrhofen opens till mid April with Hintertux as a back up 2 hours from Munich and conditions are generally pretty good as the lowest skiing is 1,100 up to 2,800 in Mayrhofen and 1,200 up to 3,600 in Hintertux.

Solden is the same as above but one glacial area.

Anything with its majority of skiing lower than 1,000 would be a big risk in terms of the quality of snow, and it will soften up very quickly in the PM

The Kitzinhorn in Garmisch will still be open a smaller Glacier are but for a long weekend it will be cheap and perfect only an hour from Munich. Somehting diffrent!
