Just wanted to put this out the and see if anyone could help me.

I bought a lincoln no 2 tap o/u for clay shooting about 8 months ago its a lovely gun and fits me like a glove for some reason I'm having a lot of trouble with the firing pin in the top barrel it broke about 75 shells after I got it carried back too where I got it and he sent if off too his gunsmite after I got it back it broke again around 200 shell mark took it back again and as before he sent it back too the gun smite and low and after getting it back 200 shells later the firing pin breaks today.

I go too the clay ground once a week and shoot a 50 bird that's all the shooting I do with it how is it possible that the top pin is breaking like this and I'm having no trouble with the bottom pin would it be the gun smite is putting a cheap pin in or no making the pin right

I don't want too get rid of the gun as I'm not shoot shotgun that long was alway a rifle shooter out of all the shotgun iv tryed this gun suits me the best anyone have any ideas or know any good gun smites I could sent it too myself.

The firing pin might be sticking out and when you open the gun the cartridge drags the firing pin along with it slightly, bending it. Is there a small spring pushing the pin back in after you fire the gun do you know ?

I'm not sure about the spring. But when he opened it the first time it broke before he sent it off I though I saw a spring I'm not sure plus he did say he'd get new springs put in. Sorry I don't know a whole lot about shotgun I'm only took up the clay shooting not too long ago.
