    Hi All,

I installed a new sink about a year ago, the only problem was the new sink wasn't as deep as the opening in the worktop, so I was left with a gap at the back of the worktop. I fixed some timer in to make up the gap and it's worked out quite well, very sturdy. Its a very long counter and i didn't want to replace it.

I now need to cover over the new timber and more than likely the little strip of work top behind it. (see photo:- https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1326656/kitchen%20sinnk.JPG

I can peel the laminate off the counter top behind the sink, so I was wondering what would be best to slip under the tiles and new sink.

I was thinking of possibly a strip of stainless steel, but i don't think it would look great with the sink. I could probably get a thin strip of white nylon too, which probably wouldn't look too bad and i could seal it under the tiles and the sink.

    Anyone got any other suggestions?
