Jorg Gray offer (Obama's watch)

Anyone seen this offer from Jorg Gray? It's one of the watches Barack Obama wears apparently but that's not something that would sway me one way or the other.

It's only open for another 2 days. I like the watch but the fact that another Jorg Gray worth in the region of £200 is also included has me very tempted.

I'd be thinking of this as the 2nd watch if I was to go ahead.

The first one is a nice looking watch at first glance, on second look though I find the hands way too short, so short that it puts me off completely.

The second one is much better ...if you can live with that black/orange contrast over time

Hadn't noticed the length of the hands. I don't mind them. Have looked at a few reviews on youtube and it seems to be well regarded.

The 2nd one also comes with a white face as an option. Was initially looking at something from the Casio Edifice collection as a one size fits all. Would like to have an everyday watch + more of a dress watch as well.

Its been years since I've had a watch at all as just use the phone and now I want two lol.

Well, If you like them ...get them

This isn't a bad deal. But there are many more watches out there where you could get two for 300 odd sterling

The hands are a good bit longer than they appear, the black outline around the lume extends quite a bit, especially on the minute hand, and the inner bezel makes them appear short too I think. They are shorter than the hands on all my watches though I have to agree.

Quartz chronographs aren't really my world, but spend some time on the bay (set it to world-wide) and check out Zeppelin, Junkers, Dugena Premium ...that should keep you busy for tomorrow.:D
