Place name help

Hi, Just wondering can anybody help tracking down a placename. On an 1839 marriage record the person address is listed as (K. Shamun) in castleconnor/coastleconor in Co Sligo. I have never come across this place and was wondering if anybody had experience of Co Sligo townland names as I am not getting any hits on the townland database. Thanks in advance

What does it say here for the townland?

Perhaps if the townland is for the bride, it might be in a different parish.

Yeah thats the castleconor but its the place of residence I am confused aabout.im just wondering if its in the castleconor parish. It say the name on the cert from rootsireland webpage as my great great grandfathers address before marriage

Iv found the above website is missing data as their wedding isnt listed but it is on rootsireland in 1846 as in the castleconor parish.

After reading the list posted I think Knocknashammer is the best/only possibility. I can see how the priest's handwriting, spelling and shorthand (Knockna to "K.") may have resulted in "K. Shamun".
