Weber carb for 1992 Nova 1.4NV

    A friends son has put a 1992 Vauxhall Nova on the road. I did quite a bit of work on it and it has just passed the NCT so all worthwhile .
    It is fitted with a Pieberg 2E3 carb and even though it got through the test its very troublesome - as I have found Piebergs to be over the years.
    I suggested a Weber conversion - but a new kit from McNamaras costs €430 and is completely beyond a students budget at present .
    I am hoping that someone somewhere has a second hand Weber lying around that would fit the Nova - and not too expensive .
    I posted elsewhere and this forum was suggested as worth a try :).
