Hi, Im looking to get the R9 270, as its on par with a 7870 whilst only using about as much power as a 7850 and only needs 1 6 pin sata power cable. Amazon are only selling the 270x at the moment, not the regular 270, Dabs are selling the 270 but the price is a bit steep. Thanks in advance

Dabs look kind of cheap relative to any of the UK retailers that have some in regular 270s in stock like Scan,OCUK or Aria, the €150 on Dabs is not too bad for the Asus r9 270 IMO, I doubt prices will get much cheaper than that for a while since the cards are only just out.

EDIT: Do'h, never mind I'm an Idiot, I turned on ex VAT pricing option on Dabs a few days ago and never set it back. :o

Thats the 290x but you are right Scan do sell the 270 non x cards.

I got 2 big boxes of stuff from them recently, 2 day delivery with tracking for a tenner which I thought was amazing :)

Ive never bought from Scan before, how reputable are they ?, I see they have an option to pay using your Amazon account.

They are faultless imo. I've had a few next day deliveries with standard postage which is amazing. Their customer service is very good too
