    Hi ,
I'm in the market to update my PC - I was looking at this thread here in Photograhpy: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057085942
The PC I have is :

And it's fine for everything except processing RAW files (5D III) on LR4.

It can take a long time >20 mins for batches of 50.

I'm not looking for the best i7 processor, but a good one, and I was thinking 16GB of RAM would do it too .

Also someone said it could be the disk access ? I don't know it doesn't make a lot of noise when processing is
going on, but I suppose I need to find the bottleneck.

Here is the performance of the PC whilst processing a batch

I guess my question is what spec should I go for to process raw files in LR4 a lot faster ?

Working with them in real time can be a bit sluggish too .

    Cheers
