no of speakers in 2005 Ford focus ghia

Hi guys - we just bought a 2005 Ford Focus Ghia hatchback from the UK it has the standard 6000CD player installed with no modifications so far as we can see - but there is no sound comming from the back speakers even though the door panel has a grille as though speakers should be fitted. Does anyone know if speakers were actually fitted on this model as standard - before my other half goes to town on it with a screwdriver - which will only end in tears lol. thanks

Have you checked the fader settings in the radio menu.

Hi - thanks for reply - husband says when he presses the fader/balance it only says balance there is no 'fade' option.

If there is no fade option and the model no. of the radio is 6000 --- written on front face

then the radio is only a 2 speaker unit.

My 2003 Ghia saloon def had rear speakers and that should too I think. Def mess with the settings back might be turned off...
