Superquinn Offers

Superquinn have some decent offers this week:

70cl bottle of Baileys for €10 until the 26th Nov and Oyster Bay wine for €8.

Seems to be a good deal on some of the beer too - various boxes 2 for €30. The Bulmers, Bud, Carlsberg etc are 20 bottle packs. Corona, Sol and Tiger are all 12 packs.

They also have decent sized chickens half price e.g. 1.6kg for €3.25.

I'm considering buying online.

The offer on the 2 for €30 beers expires next Tuesday. If I select 2 of the boxes of beers for delivery next Thursaday, will I get them at the offer price today (i.e submit my payment details now) or do I get charged normal price after the delivery has been made?

I've probably worded that atrociously, but hopefully someone knows.

No you get charged what the price is on the day of delivery

No- Supervalu has its own offers (which depend on the store apparently). Nally's in Celbridge seem have a chocolate sale on at the moment- and a 5-for-5 offer on meats (including some pre-packaged cod fillets etc- which are actually really really good- their sprinkled in Paprika).

They had an offer on Irwin's Jammy Joeys for 1.50- which I don't seem to be able to find anywhere- the kids adore them.

Definitely worth paying a visit- to be honest- you're best bet is to visit the respective websites, and plan your shopping before you leave home at all.

Superquinn beer offers to kick off again in 2 weeks. The mix and match 8 packs - 3 for €25.

Ordered two bottles of Baileys for €10 each and two boxes of Budweiser for €30 as well as a box of roses and heroes which were showing up as €5 each but when i checked my order today the baileys is "unavailable" and the Bud is showing as €24.99 a box and the tins of roses and heroes are €6.60 each, bloody swindlers!

Cancelled the order and will check out the newspapers now for more Aldi vouchers!

Got 40 bottles of Canadian Molson for €30. Think that offer runs out tomorrow.

Same here, they didnt have Oyster Bay or Baileys. I ordered last Thursday but it has to be available on the day they pick and deliver the order

I'd the same issue, ordered 4 boxes of sweets, at €5 and when they arrived they were charging €6.60, but the worst was they substituted Roses for 3 of them so I ended up with 4 tins of roses, they all went back. However it meant I got two bottle of Baileys and some other things for €15

They are about as reliable as SuperValu now that Musgraves have control.

I got conned with the tins of sweets/baileys deals as well. Just had the whole day wasted with them and will genuinely never shop there again. Never thought id say it but they should take lessons from tesco on customer service.
