    Hi Guys

I am looking for ideas for Christmas presents for my family 2 sisters(32,28) my mum and dad and my niece 8 & nephew 1+ plus my brother in law.

I only have about 15 euro a head to spend as it will be going on my credit card and I am currently in college so things are tight. I want to stay away from smelly's lynx dove sets etc.

    any ideas appreciated

    thanks

Hi hope some of this will be of some help to you :)

For my partners niece who is a toddler, for her birthday last year we got her a fairytale book from a stand in Stephen's Green shopping centre (top floor near tattoo place and gadget shop!) which we could personalise characters names (i.e. her other cousins and her name), it went down a real treat with the mum and dad! (they do boys books too) and it's a momento they'll have for years, it's around 15/16 euro and well worth it!

I'm planning on getting his other niece who's around the same age as yours a small bundle of DVD's (which I'm planning on buying from the game exchange shop in Liffey Street, they're usually quite cheap -second hand but you'd never know! Or you can buy them on their website) it keeps them occupied over the christmas and her mum will love you for it!

I always go for smellys for my dad, because he loves them, but this year, I've been looking into buying him a onesie (really cheap around the 15/20 euro mark on ebay or cheaper in Penneys), could be a gift for anyone of your family (especially if it's a funny design they'll get a great kick out of it!)

For your sisters (this would be what I'd get my aunt), a lovely necklace from any high street store (my favourites are New Look and Penneys) they are really reasonably priced and if you get one that you know they'll like, all the better (would work well for your mum too), and if your necklace came in under budget for your mum I'd get a small box of chocolates to go with it (tesco finest are gorgeous, well wrapped and half the price!)

Hope some of this helped you out :)

If the sisters are into their feet or stuff like that. those pennys foot exfoliators were all the rage this year. they are great 7 for one set and if you buy three me thinks tis cheaper

    http://www.toys.ie/PlayDoh-Flip-N-Frost-Cookies-!126580-prd.aspx
    http://www.toys.ie/Candy-Divas-Dress-Up-Model-!127913-prd.aspx
they also do some 2 for 20 euro stuff
so for the 1 year old

    http://www.toys.ie/Mega-Bloks-First-Builders-Dylan-Dump-Truck-!123671-prd.aspx
kids are so easy to buy for:)

For your sisters I would make up a small gift basket each with little things that they like in it.Candle, chocolate, slipper socks etc
or maybe offer to babysit for your sister and brother in law in lieu of a present.
If there is a local panto you could get them a family ticket.

What are your parents in to?
COuld you get some family photos and make them an album or callage?

If your Dad is into good coffee, how about some really nice freshly ground coffee. This lot do fab coffee and can gift box it, They do email orders http://www.artofcoffee.ie/

I think this could be really sweet for your Mum http://www.newbridgesilverware.com/present/china/M189/M189RoseCollectionTeaBagHolder
This is slightly over budget but I like it.

Again I love this (and want it!!) http://www.newbridgesilverware.com/present/XMASHANG/J164/J164XmasDeerDecoration

For your sisters, you can never go wrong with a really good hand cream. I get the Clairns hand & nail but it is 20 so a little over budget. Boots normally have a good range.
I also think these earrings from Newbridge are fab and come in on budget. http://www.newbridgesilverware.com/present/r296/JC604/JC604HeartShapedEarrings

For your brother in law what about http://www.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2766674

For the kids I would go with books or a special Christmas decoration.

On the same note if your dads into coffee, TK Maxx have a few different sized Moka Pots for between €5 and €12.

How about rummaging in your parents attic for some old photos of great grandparent etc. scan them in and touch them up. Print them and pop them in a nice frame from Dunnes. Likewise a wedding picture of your parents for your sisters or a nice snap you took of the kids this year.

One year for my parents, I did a calender with old family photos. Like for the Month of Feb, my birthday month they got a photo of my party party as a kid same with my sister, then a photo from their weddding day the month they got married. Summer months, Holidays we went on or summer things.
The hot chocolate sets are quite popular idea and always get used! Seen some in Penneys the other day.
