Confused

I was looking around for starter road bikes to get an idea of price when I saw this. Surely this bike is between €500/€600. Am I missing something or are there different sorts of the same model......?

if you looked at prices elsewhere online you would see quickly that the price is just wrong!!

The same bike is €595 on Evans but when you look at the prices of the rest of the Scott line up on Monaghanhire.com I dont think its a clerical error. They've priced all their bikes at over twice what the same bike costs elsewhere...cant see them doing much business with rip off prices like that.

They've a hybrid that's €715 on Evans listed for €1999 too.

They're obviously going to be overprices considering they're a "plant equipment and tools hire" business so when they buy stock in such small quantity it'll be at a higher cost, but €1300 in the difference?

Crazy, that's some difference.........
I thought maybe it was a carbon model or something.....

I did, that's why I asked. I couldn't make out any difference but thought maybe there might be carbon versions.....

I suspect their site may have been hacked. All their product links now points to donedeal.com I've just dropped them an email to let them know.
