Never claimed a tax refund.

I'm working 12 or 13 years. I'm still working at the moment.
Can I apply for a tax refund, or do I need to be unemployed?

You can request a review of up to 4 previous tax years- you do this by asking for same from your local tax office (or if you are registered with PAYEAnytime you can do it online- worth registering if you're not yet registered).

However, before you request a review, be aware that you might not be due any refund! If you've not claimed some tax break to which you are entitled then a refund is possible but it can depend on the nature of the item you've claimed and the amount of tax you've paid. Additionally, a review might also show you owing extra tax

If you want to include 2009 , you need to initiate a calim prior to 31st December 2013 .

Could be worthwhile , of course depending on circumstances ., and you should also ask for review of income levy 2009
