It seems to be Jack Whitehall week on TV - Last night he was on Fresh Meat (CH4), Bad Education (RTE2) and Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2)

Tomorrow he's on BBC3 twice - Jack Whitehall Live at 9pm and then his new chatshow with his Dad is on at 10.30pm (Backchat with Jack Whitehall and his Dad)

He's on most of the repeats of A League of Their Own (Sky2) and presenting a new Have I got News for You (BBC1) on Friday

Is that some kind of record?

Anyway, his chatshow might be worth a look if you like him. His Buzzcocks episode was the best in years IMO

BBC3 Wednesday 10.30pm (repeated lots of times)
Former theatrical agent Michael Whitehall joins his son, stand-up comedian Jack, to host a comedy chat show featuring celebrity guests and sketches. In the first edition they meet broadcaster Jeremy Paxman and actor Danny Dyer

    Buzzcocks was hilarious.

I really like Jack Whitehall and his father has a good sense of humour and his father really plays up to the stereotype of the posh upper class old man. I read their book and they seem to have a great bond so I'm looking forward to seeing how they get on together. I'm especially looking forward to seeing how Michael gets on with Danny Dyer.

I enjoyed that, it's not ground breaking but it was an entertaining 30 minutes.

It won't win around anyone who dislikes Jack Whitehall but the interactions between him and his Dad were enjoyable. The Dad isn't as oblivious to the entertainment industry as his persona suggests - he was a successful Producer and Theatrical Agent who represented Judi Dench and Colin Firth, among others.

Paxman and Dyer were good guests, the show had good energy.

I enjoyed it. I think I'd like it a bit better if Michael engaged with the guests more, not just when he wants to say something about Jack. It was very funny though. I don't think Jack is a natural interviewer but I don't think it necessarily matters in the context of the show.

I couldn't get into it. Lots of the jokes felt too forced.

Really enjoyed it this week. Jack was much more comfortable with the guests. Jeremy Paxman was a tough one to start with last week.
