Am looking to fly to England for a day at the weekend but the flights are crazy money and getting more expensive by the hour.

If I wait till Friday or Saturday say (want to travel on Sunday), do you think I'll get the tickets cheaper? Or do they just keep going up and up?

Manchester. Hoping to fly over early and come back late-ish.

Have found flights to Manchester on Ryanair, leaving Dublin at 6:30am and then leaving Manchester the day after at 19:45pm for 94.98. At this late stage, that price is an absolute steal, I'd book them now.

No I have to return that evening and the flights are € 140.00 which is a bit expensive for me. Thanks for looking though.

What I was wondering was will the prices come down very close to the departure time, like the day before. With Ryanair I know that's unlikely.

It's not essential I go. It's just to watch a friend compete in something.

No, they won't come down. They'll increase more likely.

You could Sail/Rail or Bus it if cost is more important than time.

I would book the cheaper leg of the journey first now. So I would book Dublin to Manchester flying out at 6.30 for €52 with Ryanair, and then I would go searching Edreams etc for the later leg of your Journey home. . Or alternatively look into flying home from another airport, if its cheaper, plenty of options.
