    Does anyone know where one of these can be purchased, it's about 10" in diameter, has a little draw string for opening and closing, fan is driven by the breeze, it slots into a circular hole in the window and fixed with mastic.

    That's a Simon Vent-a-matic, I haven't seen one for many years.
    You could try Myra Glass, it would probably be as cheap to buy an electric fan.
