Hi everyone, I'm just lookin for a bit of advice. I'm currently doing a Fas course that is due to finish at the end of August next year, my fas payments will b finished. So if I was pregnant and due at same time, how or where would I get funds from? Would I go back onto Jobseeker's Allowance?

I think that this is better suited to State Benefits.

Can you give more details, a lot will depend on your household situation.

If you were claiming JSA before you will transfer back to JSA afterwards, you will be able to get a break from signing on for 4 weeks around your due date as far as I know.

You may lose 3 days at the switch between fas and jsa, so just plan for this. I mean you only get paid for 2 days one week.
