They are too cheap to be genuine, they are a popular item to fake. So you may as well get some other alternative, which could be a lot cheaper.

Yeah granted that they are cheap but sure i watched an entire video on YT where he compared the genuine Vs the knock off he had bought and the only main difference was the box it came in and the colours of the buckles ?!?

TBH it was either one of these or the get fit system that is 40$ online that is similar and genuine.

What alternatives are there? I've read about rings and cargo bands?

The fakes are not just a different colour, they will probably be of a worse quality so could break faster. Its like fake branded t shirts, I would rather just get a dunnes one since I know it will have gone through at least some quality checks and they have some reputation to keep.

I have rings and really like them. I would also have a look at this one www.shamrockgym.ie

Its similar to the trx but has dip bars, and the removable chinup bar. You could get additional straps along with the shamrock gym to make the straps adjustable, then you can do most things the trx could

Had seen that shamrock bar in my travels, and looks good, but to be honest would be wary that the bulk of it is a bit off putting, as in it will stay in the corner or a room or hanging if it goes unused for a period of time (likely) and not easy stored.

How do you go about extending with those straps?

I gave a link to an ebay shop selling decent adjustable straps. They would just loop through the existing loops on the shamrock gym ones.

You can use them for lots of other things too, e.g. if you were not able to do a pullup you could use a strap to put your foot in, like a horse stirrup, and so aid yourself up.

Great , thanks for the help, i would probably air on the side of getting one of the TRX systems as i've only gotten over the years worth of slagging off the missus on a ab roller i bought years back which is now living in the attic.
