    Hi,
I was doing my usual shopping centre round last weekend and I stopped by in PcWorld. I've spotted a guy talking via shiny Nexus 4, and I thought - nice phone dude. He was standing next to Nexus 7 stand, had 2 chromeboooks on the floor and his bag had paperclips in google colours.
    What the.... I thought.
A google guy in Tralee, interesting.
So I waited until he finishes talking over the phone and have a chat with him... so I wait, wait some more. Missus giving me looks. Ok, I'll come back later
So, I'm back later - guy is still talking!!!
I gave him another 5 minutes and gave up.

Did any of you had a chance to actually talk to these guys, he looked like he was there to chat with anyone playing with N7 but he didn't gave a sh... about me standing next to him.

All I wanted to ask is "What's the story with no Nexus phones in Ireland, bro?"
    Disappointment. :(

Didn't think he would be allowed talk on his phone while working, he obviously didn't care if he spent that long on the phone. Was he talking shít to a friend or was did it sound like a business call?

Hi had his name badge with G logo above it so I'm guessing he was "at work". Wasn't listening his conversation, though...
I was looking awkward enough standing next to him and waiting for being noticed.

In-store demonstrators are usually contract workers employed by an agency on behalf of a client. There are several companies who do this - they also employ staff to sell utility services door-to-door e.g. electricity.

They are trained for the particular product and given branded clothing, pens and freebies (usually). They are definitely NOT supposed to be on the phone whilst in-store. Their boss would be very unlikely to call them, and if they did, it would be a very quick call.

I'm surprised to hear this happened, and suspect this rep will have a short career.

I know someone who has a similar job with another company. They are primarily there to train staff in the store to help drive sales and not sell directly to customers themselves. Saying that they usually will talk to any customers hanging about.

Maybe just try and get over it?
