Paying for too much for too little..Satellite help..

    Hi.
    Been a UPC member now sky for about 5-6 years.. i feel like i am held for ransom by both

    I live by my self and its hard to come up with the funds of 120 a month though there i a broadband connection in there..i have all the channels you can think of that i dont watch..mostly sports so i pay 34e for the skysports channels 18 euro for setanta & BT sports 1,2.. boxnation too don't look at much more than these channels.. Liverpool and boxing would all that interest me ..
    although their different companies i want to say goodbye to sky...

    I would like to pay for my own satellite and buy rights for the year from the foreign market ie Aljazeera and others?.. is this possible i dont mind spending a few bob after all i am paying 1200 year to SKY!!..

    can anyone show me the yellow brick rd :P

    A satellite costs millions even before you pay for someone to launch it. How will you get an allocation for an orbital position?

    OP, this is the best advice I think. You won't get much help if use the attitude you have in some of your replies in this thread there, though, so be nice in future.
