I was thinking Kerry for a little break, where should I stay, what to do?

    I'd appreciate a few ideas.

    What are you into?

Activities, sights, culture, history, restaurants, there is so much you might need to specify what you are looking for.

Big county to be fair. Dingle will be shutting down after the season so won't be much happening. It is still a beautiful part of the country though. Tralee is fairly quiet in general except when the Rose of Tralee is on as far as I know. But if you are shopping for men's clothes, Tralee is the best town. I live in Killarney, always something happening, even midweek cos all the bar/hotel staff go out after working weekends. And you have plenty to do with the National park, Muckross, Ross Castle and a good base for the Ring of Kerry. "Christmas in Killarney" will be starting soon, they close off main street to traffic and put log cabins with stalls there and it looks good, nice for a stroll in the eve and christmas themed occasions will be on around the town. And the ice rink should be in town soon.

Go karting is just up the road in Abbeyfeale, about 30-40mins drive and it's a good laugh, outdoor track and all. There are high ropes just outside the town in Aghadoe, a 5 minute drive. Stables out in Fossa, also a 5 minute drive, you can get guided treks through the park. There is a pitch n putt course but I think the season is finished. The town will be starting to shut down after the summer so activities will be limited.

Also, the choice of restaurants and hotels in Killarney is probably the best in Ireland outside Dublin.

    Killarney ftw :)

There is plenty of things to do in Tralee, as well as there being some lovely scenery around the area and beaches, although I know not quite beach weather, but still nice for a walk! Not everything revolves around Killarney, we do have plenty to offer here in Tralee too!
