Do you think there would be any interest from businesses in using classic cars for business promotions? Like how about the business has a special offer on and having a couple of banners beside a cool classic parked outside might draw some extra attention!

    Just an idea!

You sound like a cousin of mine waaaay back - he's living overseas now :o

There's some company renting out Citroen H vans for promotions - PaddyPower have a Lada in their window , the Gibson hotel have a H van in their window, Brodericks bakery have a Hillman Minx, Eddie Rockets use a 58 Buick around town etc etc. I think if anyone was considering such a promotion they'd buy their own classic :(

there's a Volvo and a Morris Minor in Carlow being used as signposts. They've been parked in the same spots for ages now. It would have been cheaper to buy a pole and sink it into the ground.

TBH, I don't think they add as much impact or grab as much attention as they should. They quickly fade into the background :(

If I recall correctly there is a fiat 600 and a 600 multipla parked outside a pizza shop in Drogheda.

Also the Parnell centre used to have a delorean and a rolls silver cloud parked up inside some years ago but I don't really know why they were there.

Saw this one a few months back, it stands out for sure, but that said I remembered the truck, but not what was written on it! Classics can be good for advertising, but only if done correctly

That advertising van has worked perfectly, you've just posted the details for all to see, and for free.
